The bench is a very inviting place to rest and just breathe for a while.

You may find some hats from earlier in the year but I'm really lax about tagging my posts to make things easier to find. I need to go back and fix that though it will be very time intensive.

A bench in the shade is always a very welcome sight. It's a nice place to ponder the more pleasant things in life.

The photo is simple, yet beautiful with all the shadows going this way and that. Lovely!

Sepia really enhances that bench.

Yes, the bench does look so inviting! And I love your country living in the last post with your puppy so big!

The sepia tones change the atmosphere of this bench, I'm sure. The photo seems very weighty somehow. Maybe the shadows of the tree branches (which I can see shifting in the breeze) give it that slightly uneasy feel. Like a storm brewing somewhere.

Annie 2x,
Thank you Annie! I'll check out the places when I have totally caught up from being back (my questions sometimes bring me in trouble LOL!) Past few winters I've knitted hats for the needy. That's why now I'm learning to knit socks.

Pialotto,
Thank you for visiting my blog -went to yours, and I wonder about your name - it seems Italian, yet you're living in Scandinavia? I am from Holland, but live in Los Angeles!

Bettyl,
Thank you for visiting! This bench is at a bus stop in Yosemite National Park, so it's not often empty!

Irene,
Somehow a bench is very inviting (if it's not one of those hard concrete ones:) ). I've a wooden bench on my deck that's screaming to be painted!

Janelle,
The shadows initially invited me to take the pic - maybe one time to paint it (for the shadow part!) - artists think alike, don't they?

Nitwit,
Thank you, Friend -and it's an easy pic for sepia scenes!

Lui,
Thank you for visiting! The puppy is 2 years old, but is not mine -belongs to the owners of the land on which my daughter's house stands -but doggy is like one of the family:)

Stephanie,
Yes, sepia definitely changes it -maybe heavy, because of the dark background - in reality it's a very cheerful pic, because of the green grass behind the bench:)
You're a good observer, btw!

Hi Jannette! Thank you for your comment about the small house which has been a housing for a long time ago for a family. Anki-itte

The sepia tones make an ordinary bench into something both mysterious and serene. I really like this.

Sam,
Yes, the perfect place to get some ideas going:)

Rudee,
The shadows from the tree branches that are seen on the ground, were actually the reason I took the pic (to use for a painting one day:) )

Jen,
Hope where you live are some benches where you can sit and relax?

Anki,
Wow, it seems small for a whole family. I hope they moved to a bigger house:) Thanks for visiting!

The bench looks kind of lonely here. :)

EG Wow,
I cropped it out of a pic with 2 benches next to each other. I had to be fast, because it's at a bus stop, so they're not lonely for long:)
