THE FISH HATCHERY MiweekBlue Water Wed. Reflect

For Midweek Blues,  Watery Wednesday, and Weekend Reflections please scroll down to the end.
Have been burning too much midnight oil lately, because of two new big project,so I'll blog at a slower pace. Hope you leave your comments, even though I won't have time to give my personal reply as usual, till the bulk of the projects are done:)

On a perfect 60 degree weather day
The sun was shining with just a little breeze,
we were walking along the American river.
Only a few came by
for Midweek Blues, hosted by Rebecca

They should have asked him, but they asked us:)
if the fish were biting today
For Watery Wednesday, hosted by 2sweetnsaxy

Guess the fish hatchery about 200 feet back
was their inspiration to catch their own!

The biggest rainbow trout lounged just beneath the sign
"Keep hands out of water"
Good that the sign was there.
For the little kiddies it seemed extremely difficult not to put their hands in the water:)
For Weekend Reflections, hosted by James.

That is a lot of fish. It would have been difficult for me to keep my hands out of the water too.

Nice blues and reflections (for some reason, it seems backwards). That guy fishing has got to be cold!

I'd love to go fishing if there were as many fishes as that! Have you decided what to paint next? Hope you can also check out my entry . Thank you!

Some peaceful images there, Jeannette. I think my favorite is peeking at the river through the branches loaded with spring buds.
You're right about kids and water - until you ask them to wash their hands!

Aha! And you are left handed.

I did not expect a lot of fish. Next time if we travel to the Eastern Sierra, we will visit the hatchery.

Lovely pictures -- haven't been to a fish hatchery for years, but we used to visit some pretty often when we lived in the Pac. NW.

Good luck on your bit projectS!!
