TO ADD A GREEN REFLECTION AND SUNSET SKY

For Skywatch please scroll to bottom of post -thank you!

What can I say, having looked at my green post almost all week, green is still in my system, so I thought to add a green reflection.  This one is one of my favorite lunch spots in Yosemite National Park.

Favorite, because it's quiet enough that one can read a book, kids play on the sand and at the edge of the water. More to the middle this river is good for fishing : pretty clear (see the rocks and green on the bottom of the river?) and fast flowing water.
Three guesses why I like this spot:)
Right now, the sun is right above my head, so it fades many colors into white. The next time I look at my watch , it's 3:30 pm and the shadow parts underneath the trees are almost black -too late!
For Weekend Reflections, hosted by James.

To inch myself out of green,  a sunset -the perfect ending of a day.

Time speeds by when you're having fun:).

Jeannette-- I can't imagine how wonderful it must be to have a favorite spot at Yosemite! Meaning I assume that you go there often. Wonderful. Is this as peaceful as that all year? (Even during touristy season?)

Stunning pictures -- who could EVER get tired of green and nature. Just beautiful.

Pietro,
Thank you, Pietro! I know from others that Italy also has some beautiful nature spots. Hope to get there sometime:)

Forgetmenot,
Thank you for your visit! soon will visit your blog too:)

Tsuki,
And painting has become as fun (and easy) as reading a book -so I never run out of things to do:)

Sallie,
Thank you! When one lives in the city, you are so used to people around you outside that it does not bother you at much.

chubskulit,
Thank you for visiting! Hope you have a great weekend too!

Joey,
It would be great to get back to painting, Joey! And good to see you back here:)

Spots like this along the river are so relaxing. I have no trouble seeing why you like it so... And you snset is a glorious way to end the day.

[To answer you question, I'm in Bucharest to work for a total of four months. I don't mind it, enjoy it, in fact, except it's too long away from my honey. :-)]

Your sunset photo is so beautiful, by the way thanks for your kind comment and good wishes (I had a great time in Rome, sadly it was a very short trip but I hope to return soon).

Patrick,
Thank you:) With getting more sun outside here now, hope you relax -never know how long it will last! (never thought I would say that in CA)

Francisca,
Oh, 4 months is long time to be away from hubby:( You must love your work! So what do you do in your free time there?

DJ,
Thanks for visiting! I envy you being able to go back to Rome soon, but then people envy me, because of living in Los Angeles:)

Clytie,
Thanks! Sorry for not visiting you as often, it's not you or your blog, but I have started writing stories for my paintings and it takes all my energy.

Leia,
Always nice to hear from you! How are things going for you? And with your studies?
Just some info: when a European says "park" it is like a city park. When an American says "National park" it is big and more like a forest with mountains, waterfalls, etc.
-the one I show here, it takes at least three hours to drive through from one end to the other!

Lucka,
Thank you for visiting!
You have an unusual name for an Eastern European! Or, are your parents from another country?

Cildemer,
Thank you! and also for answering my question:) I guess that they had plenty of wars (just at smaller scale) in the past too!

It is easy to see why you are inspired to paint in the places you show us.
I hope the rhubarb cake is something you like. Have a great week ahead.
