It may be quirky, but it's a great photo! BTW, that is one heavy duty easel! Wow...

The coffee will do the trick...I'd never be able to resist the aroma. Interesting bookstore.

Patrick,
Quirky is good. My kids have a saying, "If dad makes it, it lasts for 300 years":)

Tsuki,
Yeah, it's kind of full inside, but any good store in San Diego is:)

Rosie,
They did that as a bookstore long before Borders and Barnes & Nobles did the cafe thing.

Fjallripan,
Thank you, friend! Hope you're enjoying your weekend!

Rudee,
Was going to point out those cupcakes in the text - should have known you would find them!

I've been to that village many years ago and we got a nice Red Dala Horse from a Scandinavian shop there. Still have it in my spare bedroom with the many nice memories it carries. Looks like that was an interesting shop too.

Ziet er leuk uit, echt zo'n winkel waar je lekker kan rondsnuffelen in de hoop dat je wat bijzonders tegenkomt.

Jane,
Sorry to tell you that store is not there any more -many stores have changed, especially with the recession.

James,
Upstart Crow (name of the store) has become our favorite hangout:)

Leia and Cezar,
Yeah, it's a book-and everything else store:) Have a great week!

Dick,
Precies, en ik heb daar menig speciaals gekocht -een boek met van Gogh's brieven aan zijn broer, een mooie sjaal, enz.!

EG Wow,
I agree a hundred percent! Also read my reply to Sallie below...

allie,
Haha, wish that was all of life, dear friend! Then there would be no war and more of that nonsense:):)
