MY LITTLE BRAG BOOK

WHEN NIGHT FALLS

A fiery sun sets in the Colorado mountains....
taken by moi when accompanying
hubby on one of his jobs in Colorado

When people here in the USA become grand parents,
they have a small photo album with them, to show off their grand child
to everyone. Some grandmas even go so far as to wear
a button/brooche or necklace with the pic of their grand child.
This is something similar, not a necklace, but a blog - I'm bragging!

Tiny lights glisten in the bamboo bush in Sanya
taken by my son while on vacation in China

The lights go on and glass is sparkling
in a window on main street Balboa island.
Taken by hubby on one of his asignments

A fountain of lights coming from Balboa island's waterfront.
also taken by hubby

Carol,
thank you! You know that you inspired some people to start a dream journal? :)

Colorado can be breath taking. When my parents lived there, I (and they) took many pictures, many of which I then painted. Always beautiful.
Those other ones are also beautiful, just the first one brought back memories!

Wonderful shots. I really like the last one with the bright lights smearing on the water.

Joey,
After California, Colorado would be the state to live in! Such gorgeous sights. So you have painted more paintings than you showed on your blog, eh?

Jen,
Thank you - in reality it is really that beautiful at night!

The sunset in Colorado of your picture is really breathtaking.
Your son and hubby seem also to do very well with the camera . A photo oriented family at its best.

Duta,
Yeah, never dreamed (no pun intended)that it would turn out this way! Life has it little quirks, turning things so different than we thought life would look like.

It does our souls good to brag on occasions, especially about our loved ones. :) eautiful pics Jeannette. Photos like this hod so many great memories. For some reason, I am missing my son today more than other times.

Joan,
So tell me when it's about your son, what would you "brag" about? I'm feeling for you that this happened in your life. So hard to understand, even after we have accepted it.

What fantastic photos, I've really enjoyed looking at them - thank you for sharing them:)

Oh gosh, there were so many things I bragged about. He was just such a kind, humorous person full of mischief and always up to tricks. At the same time he was quiet and introvert with people he did not know.

He was an absolute genius when it came to computers but could not knock a nail in a wall. LOL!!

Most days go by easily enough but just now and again it gets really bad for a day or so. :(

Here is a story for you but please note, he was 6'4" and I am about 5'6"...

If I did not want to give him ice cream, he would threaten to hand me over to the SPCA (Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals) as he said it was "cruelty to animals". LOL!!

Another time I was running the water for my bath and he asked if it was ready, when I said yes, he picked me up and dumped me in clothes an all. I had jeans on at the time and as they shrink when wet, it took me about 20 minutes to peel them off. Needless to say, I threw all my shoes at him that I had in the cupboard but not one hit him and he stood there laughing his head off at me. LOL!!

Rosie,
Am glad to "see" you back here! Hope all is well? Thanks Rosie - am going to your blog to see if I missed some things LOL

Joan,
Mischief huh? He must have that from his mom LOL
AND tricks not to forget!
Wish I knew what would comfort you. Am thinking about you.

Joan,
It's good to remember happy and funny times - and maybe you miss that side of his the most right now. You were quite a lively family LOL
My son is the same height, so I know that you can't do much physically when they have something mischieveous like that in mind :)

Shreddy,
Hope you did well on your exams? But then after that I hope you are out for summer vacations, right?
Thank you - glad you find it interesting - you are welcome to print out the articles on dreams (that's why I put that sentence in there of copy right to remind new readers of it)
