Some of You will Like the Baked Tortellini

This is the baked tortellini I promised to give the recipe of in my previous post.
Ingredients are for 3 people when eaten as a main dish with a salad.

18 oz. cooked tortellini
28-32 oz. (jar/can) spaghetti sauce (not the meat flavor)
13 oz. can minced clams, drain
1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese
3/4 cup Alfredo sauce (jar)

Cook tortellini the same way one cooks spaghetti.
Tortellini can be with any kind of filling.

Spray oil in a 12 x 8 inch baking dish
Combine spaghetti sauce, clams and Parmesan
and stir mix into tortellini.
Spoon the Alfredo sauce on top of the pasta mix.
Cover dish

Preheat oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit
Bake 25 min. Uncover and bake 5 more min. until bubbly.
Bon Appetit, mes amis!

I love tortellini, but would have to leave out the clams due to a food alergy. Sounds yummy, maybe dinner tonight.

Ah! With CLAMS!!!!
Wonderful idea, I would have never thought of it. I am used to soups with tortellini!
I am borrowing the recipe.

Gaelyn,
Sorry Gaelyn, may be Joan would be a person to ask what you could substitute the clams with - since she does recipes.

Joey,
Thank you Joey-go ahead, you probably will like it - I could eat pasta every day! I also have recipe of tortellini salad, but can't always make it, since watercress or arugula is not always available where I shop.

Jen,
The best thing about this recipe is that it's quick and easy, and kids like it (the last one was always one of my determinants LOL).

You're welcome, Joan!
Did you see Gaelyn's comment? What would be a good substitute for clams?
