Hi Bloggie Friends,
Don't know why it does not show on my dashboard with the new posts, but I just posted (Thurs. 2:00 AM) the little 9 x 6 painting I worked on the day after Christmas. It also does not show up on my icon of ART NOTES (something must be going on:) ). So, please go to ART NOTES to see it (click on the top pic in the right column here). You'll like it!Later in the morning - hurray - everything is in place. Really very special, the instant support there is from readers! In the beginning I viewed blogging as a kind of an extension of a journal. but I have discovered that it is much more relational than I thought it would ever be.Also, I've gotten to know people from all over the world, with a click of the mouse. It beats the cost of air travel and the cumbersome jet lag. Three cheers for you!

Jeannette, I have noticed that it often takes time for new posts to show up in the links, both in the Readers list on the Dashboard and in the widgets in the sidebars. Sometimes it can take more than an hour (perhaps several hours, I have not really checked). Sometimes they show up much faster though. I suppose it depends on how much data traffic there is on the servers at the time when you happen to post.
I had snow on my blog but a friend wrote that it was causing his computer to freeze. So I removed it.
However, I've never had trouble with the snow on your blog or that of others.
Took 3 tries but finally got through to Art Notes. I kept getting redirected to something called "supertoolbar". Hmmmmmmm.
Beautiful picture. And the wisdom of your words is so true.
Beautiful colours, Jeannette.
Monika,
Actually I knew that, but I forgot because it was WAY PAST my bed time, and still wanted to get it done before going to bed LOL (hope I learned my lesson!!)
Barry,
it's bacause it's Californian snow:)
Clytie,
Thanks for your perseverance!Did you go to my Art Notes by clicking on the top pic in the right column? That's the easiest way:)
Weaver,
Thank you, dear friend! The pic came out a little bit more purple than it is in reality (because I used normal lamp light)
Hope it is not too hrashly cold in the UK?
Gifted...truly gifted!
Jeannette, your art is so beautiful, it leaves me breathless. Do you sell it anywhere?
On another note, I thought about your comment on my main blog regarding whether I have ever considered working as a therapist. I have given it some thought in the past, but not a whole lot. I work with people on hospice. I suppose my understanding comes from those experiences.
The Muse,
Thank you, Friend! That little baby has inspired many artists:)
Blogging is like having an open diary where the key is like a vibrational match that draws or attracts a person to investigate the pages of a person's mind.
The world is getting to know its self better.
I grew up in Alameda, across from San Francisco. I live in Washington State now, but I visit my parents just about every year.
I love the new design and the header picture as well.;)
I agree with you on the blogging.;)
Thank you so much for your kind mail, I will try to read the posts you suggest in the weekend.;)
Have a great Friday,
xoxo
Zuzana
Natural Monents,
You have an interesting way of putting it -but I do agree!
Haven't made it to San Francisco, not further than Pittsburg and Sacramento, because my children (used to in P.) live there.
Claudia,
Thanks for visiting me! I left a comment on your blog. I saw that it was powered by Wordpress - so are you on wordpress? I'm asking, because I can't figure out how the friend system works there! Let me know if you know -thanks:)
Zuzanna,
It was actually your blog that caused me to go to "the cutest blog on the block"- I wanted a little structure.
I expect those posts will be helpful to you, and I've given my readers permission to print out these posts. Wishing you a great weekend!
Claudia,
visited your blog. Since it's about art, please visit ART NOTES. Click on the top pic in the right column and it will take you there!
How in the world did you find me?:)
Hello my friend Jeanette! It is very late Sunday evening...I am a night owl! Even though I have to be up in 6 hours to get ready for work! I just read through your last 3 posts! How wonderful! Your sweet granddaughter is picking up your traits! Mine only get the "look" from me. I will never forget my mother telling me to "wipe that frown off your face right now young lady" and I could swear I wasn't frowning...my 3 granddaughter have the same frown! LOL it make me laugh! She is beautiful! Oh and the blue boy in my post...it happened 2 years ago when we were sitting the children when their parents were on a cruise LOL Owen, I swear I turned my back for only a minute, got into his moms finger paints...and yes...there was blue paint all over him and the wood floor! We were hysterical with laughter and he started laughing too! Luckily it came up off the floor with a few wet clothes! PHEW! He is the same one with the adorable blonde hair and smile and chubby cheeks. A doll! Yeah, my Huhoney dresses up like Santa each year and goes out and sees children...it is fun! hugs....lindalu
Linda,
Thank you for sharing the joy of being a grand parent with me!! (much nicer than to be a parent, isn't it?)
