For Scenic Sunday
This bird would not stand still -sorry I don't know the name of this bird as usual, but several of my blog friends told me it's a Canadian goose and it's surroundings made for a great reflection. Taken in Huntington Library Gardens.

Lovely green coulors and a great reflection. The beautiful bird is a Canadian Goose :) Have a nice weekend!
The Huntington Library Gardens seem to be a great source of inspiration to you. It's where you find a lot of beauty. I wished I had paid better attention when I was there. I think I was too young to appreciate it properly and I had two little kids with me who were impatient. Maybe I'll go back in another life.
I don't know what it is either, but I like the pic!
Nice how the bird is surrounded by the green.
Canada Goose.
Want some more of them...?!!
that;s a beautiful capture! hope you could come visit me at http://bustlingbangkok.info/the-kings-park/
Beautiful photograph of what I think is probably a Canada Goose.
A delightful photo of a bird obviously not intent on poising for you!. I love the pond.
Yes! It's a goose! And you captured her wonderfully!
Thanks for sharing, Jeannette;o)

Hope you are having a nice and happy weekend****
Beautiful picture Jeanette -- it is a Canada goose. That's one of the few birds I know for sure!
It's a nice reflection and a very familiar bird. There were thousands of Canadian geese in Newtown. I like to watch the flocks flying in formations over head.
Sylvia,
Thank you, Friend! And I'll pass on the compliment to hubby! Hope you enjoyed your weekend:)
Fjallripan,
Any green scene is valued greatly in California, for we do not have much rain! Hope you had a nice weekend:)
Irene,
Little kids are huge distractions for moms:)Who knows, you'll visit California again:!
Patrick,
Thank you! Heard several times that it's the Canadian goose.
Carola,
Thank you, they do nice landscaping here in the Huntington Gardens!
Sanna,
If someone else takes care of them, lol:)
Raja,
Thank you, as well as visiting here!
Weaver,
Thank you - there's a general consensus among the ones who commented that it's the Canadian goose -thank you though:)
Nitwit1,
They don't take directions very well, do they? Lol!
Cildemer,
You're welcome! It looked (to me) so big for a goose, but everyone said the same, so a goose it is:)
My weekend was great -thanks:)
Sallie,
Am glad my blog friends help to keep me on the straight path:):)
James,
Now you'll miss some things that looked familiar in Newtown!
