Beautiful landscapes in Colorado Springs, when I accompanied hubby
for a week of work there.
A gorgeous living room with large windows on three sides
and I could see Pike's Peak. (not in this pic)
and I could see Pike's Peak. (not in this pic)
Unfortunately a beautiful house with an enviable view was not enough
to save the marriage of the home owner.
Every day I worked on my plein air watercolors
pretending I was clueless to what was already obvious to me.
You see "the triangle" in this view?
They only work on paper or canvas, if you know what I mean.
Why do I even write about this?
The wedding vows "to have and to hold" is one of the most precious things in life!
I'll be gone for a while. Miss all of you!
but I prepared 3 posts. Love to read all your comments
when I get back
(hopefully with lots of pics) !

If you're going to be in the Netherlands, Jeannette, you should came and see me.
wonderful painting :)
Beautiful! I hope you are having fun and I look forward to seeing lots of photos!
I really like this watercolor of yours. It has a lovely quality to it.
Love is a circle, not a triangle.
I do agree about the wedding vows Jeannette. I have been to the area you mention - had completely forgotten Pike's Peak until I read it on your blog. Wonderful scenery.
Hope you're enjoying your time off(or did enjoy, by the time you read this!) Glad you're taking pictures.
Beautiful spot in Colorado. Wish we had had the stamina to travel further than we did as Colorado sould have been a choice for me
VERY nice! you are really talented! I wish I was...
Irene,
Wish I had had more time, but I went on the spur of the moment, and had to follow an itinarary of visiting 12 people in 10 days -sorry, hopefully another time:)
Tina,
Thank you, dear friend!
James,
Both hubby and I did our best with the pics -over 500:) But it was not a vacation, more to put things in place for our son, living, study, etc., since he does not speak any Dutch!
Betsy,
Thank you much it's not my regular style, but I'm satisfied:)
Nitwit1,
Oh so true! some people have trouble rounding out those three sharp points:)
Weaver,
I'm always amazed that you have found time to travel to different places, even though your hubby has a farm!
Sallie,
Thank you! I enjoyed it, though there were a lot of things to do (for that read the reply to James).
Nitwit1,
Oh, Colorado is full of beautiful places -reminds me of Switzerland!
Patrick,
Guess you don't know that your wit is a huge talent that I don't have...:)
