AFTERNOON VIEWS IN FEBRUARY

For Midweek Blues  For Our World  Tuesday   For Watery Wednesday
For Weekend Reflection

Yesterday we were at this beach, just letting the wind go through our hair.
Still cold though!
Looking down from our friend's house next to this beach
is a popular spot to paint plein air -
the first sight of Laguna Beach,  which has 50-60 little art galleries

For more than half a year I have maintained two blogs,  thinking that I would do different kinds of posts, but it 's too much work and keeps me from painting - as well as writing (a new endeavor) so unfortunately I have to cut back for right now.

I'm graduating this "every day" blog to Artistique  -   click HERE.

An interesting tidbit is that a week after I named this blog Artistique,
I found this coffee cup in my favorite bookstore/coffee shop in San Diego
Hope you'll follow my posts there and I do not have to say goodby's :)

For now, I will keep posting my paintings at ART NOTES at the "Mysteries) blog address
(click on top of right side bar).
I will stay on Facebook too (click on Networked Blogs or Facebook badge)

A little lemon yellow
lined with Bordeau red
My second favorite flower:
ORCHIDS!

You can't lose me that easily ;>)...I'll pick up the new blog. That's cool serendipity that you found the cup. Meant to be!

I was surprised the people was so small on the beach. :)

I love that overlooking shot of the beach - magic!

I understand your desire to cut back on your activities - there is just SO much to do in life and to do justice to any of them, we need to focus. I'll endeavour to keep tracking you down though! All the best with the (new) writing interest, Jeannette and thank you for visiting my blog.

Sylvia,
Thank you, Sylvia!I would too, if there weren't so many people when the weather is nice!

Anney,
Thank you, and happy RT2!

Maria,
Since my other blog is also linked to MYM and Ruby T, I'll see you back there!

Anni,
Hope you come visit me at "Artistique"?

Tatjana,
Thank you, and hope to see you back at my Artistique blog:)

Hagemor,
I loved visiting your blog! Thanks for dropping by here, and hope to see you back at Artistique:)

Photo Cache,
It's ideal to have sandy beach and rocks close enough to photograph -because of that, there are many birds too.

Sallie,
Yeah, I took it as meant to be:) Sallie, you can always find me, if you click on HERE or coffee cup (or, did I not put that clear enough in my post?)

Naturefootstep,
The people's houses are on cliffs, like the ones you see on the pic.:)

Valerie,
Thank you much, Valerie, I'm just one click away! That is, if you click on the word "here" or on the coffee cup!

Roger,
It's fun, but taking too much time away from painting:):)

Nixblog,
And thank you for hosting it! Have a great weekend:)

Jewaicious,
Thank you! It's pretty telling that I love nature.

Anitamombanita,
My excuse for not having my thumb green is that they must die of the paint smells:)

Wayne,
This area is very beautiful(and expensive to lvie, lol!)

Esther Joy,
Thank you so much! Yes, I'm working on some paintings...

Modern Mom,
Thank you, also for visiting here. Went to your blog, but couldn't find your spiny flowers...

VERY nice photos! I especially like the beach shot from Laguna. As the crow flies, that spot is a couple of miles from my house. I wish it was a couple of feet from my house.
