Gorgeous -- glad I left this blog on my Google Reader when I added your new one to it. I used to do B&W Sunday but have kind of forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder.
Chieftess, Thanks! We are fortunate to live in this state, for there is always something to photograph!
Scriptor, Look at my reply to Clytie - I can tell you your father would have loved it, because it's the sun after all:)
Serline, Thank you! Also, for visiting here:) Bright it is!
Clytie, My confession: when hubby looked at which pic I posted he said, it's the sun! So I went back to the original file, and saw he was right:( hate when that happens!!
Carver, Thank you, and also for visiting here!
Sallie, I'm flattered you think of me that much:):)
Halcyon, I like black to be the background, lol!
Joey, That's an unusual way of putting it! Black as well as white have that sense of endless depth!

Lovely shot!!!
My father would have loved that. His favourite shots were of the sun through the trees and he lived in the black and white era.
Nice frosty feel and sunburst!
I've tried for years to take decent pictures of the moon - with no luck. Your hubby caught an awesome moment!
Very dramatic shot.

It's like looking into a star way out in the black universe.

Thank you! -When you see the original scene the "stuff" around the sun are trees:)
Naturefootstep,
When hubby took up photography, I discovered that he thinks much more "out of the box" than I thought!
