Nice pictures, Jeanette. One doesn't often see a corrugated metal fence painted blue in a neighborhood.
If I were to guess where the fence was I would say Shanghai or Beijing, covering an older neighborhood from sight of the tourists who are staying in the hotel around the corner. .. Thanks for the input. No, I stopped the 2010 European series before I did Gdansk. I must return with that part of our Baltic cruise. We also have been to Warsaw and Krakow, back in 2000.
I love photographs where the intense colour is faded and mottled giving it a fine patina. Hope you enjoyed Beijing. I have been several times but not for the last twenty years so I expect it would be a very different place now.

Weaver, Did the massacre at Tienanmen square already happen when you went there? Very interesting, when we were walking on that square I started becoming tearful -just the knowledge of what had taken place there.
