Almost like a still life of early morning
condensation of water on the window,
as well as condensation on the inside of the lens of my camera
(oops, forgot to take the camera out of the trunk of the car at night
when temps were dipping below zero Celcius or 32 degr. F).

A forlorn picnic table
waiting impatiently for Spring
Streets adorned with a bouquet of leaves, flowers and grasses

I love the autumn still life. The view is obscured, yet inviting. The scarves are lovely too.

gorgeous pictures ...love the window and the mountains
Betsy,
the view is intriguing, isn't it?
Thank you -am glad the scarves turned out nicely:)
Luna,
Thank you, the condensed water helped set the mood:0
Kerry,
These pics portray the mood I was in -waking up in a warm bed, and coming into the freezing cold...
Karena,
Thanks for your visit -glad you like the pics!
Twain,
Thought that Fall is the perfect season for still lifes -thanks:)
Very nice autumn images, and I did like that window image very good.
Interesting photos! Very much like the end of the year! We have had snow already and some enthusiastic skaters were already trying the ice. In Friesland they actually skated on nature ice, though I think it's dangerous. Skaters are advised not to go by themselves.
You have a blessed talent, these pictures are wonderful!
Fabulous artwork!Congratulations!
*** my favorite : the first one! BRAVO!
Léia
I really, really like the top photo best. As you say, quite artistic.
My Watery Wednesday Photo Hope you find time to visit with me.
Hi Jeannette,
Thanks for commenting on my entry. The last photo is breathtaking!! Thanks for sharing and have a wonderful day.
LOVE the window still life! Very nice, Jeannette!
First that ascent and descent piece is beautiful! As are the Grapevine mountains! Love that old window too.
stunning shots
the window is beautiful
and the clouds are magnificent
I love that window. :)
I've come to really appreciate photographs of windows lately, very nice.
I love that shot of the window, with all the condensation!! I never would have thought of it...
You asked whether Annie went through the ice - yes, but it was only a couple of inches deep, so she was fine. Being half terrier can be an advantage... Sometimes...
Beautiful shots! I really like the window pic!
I like your window scene, Jeannette. It tells of security indoors on a cool wet morning. The blue color helps it to look old.
About your "when temps were dipping below zero." I suppose you meant 'below zero degrees Celsius?' That would be 32° F which is the freezing point of water.
We got down to that cold this morning. That won't happen very often during a winter here in Southeast Texas.
..
I like all the photos. My favorite is the first one of the window with the condensation.
My daughter's birthday falls on Thanksgiving once in awhile too. She was born the Sunday after Thanksgiving.
Gunnar,
Thanks for visiting! While at your blog I looked at all of them -your shots of the children and the snow are stunning!
Reader Wil,
Of course I immediately passed on the news about skating in Friesland to hubby (hij is een Fries). When my brother was here, he related to me that last year was "een ouderwetse winter"!
Leia,
Thank you, Leia! You are always so kind:) Have a great rest of the week!
H. Anni,
Thank you and also for the visit! I visited yours and like your blog:)
Y. Ikeda,
You are welcome -you always have an interesting perspective in your photos! With my last pic it took me a while to figure out what was going on!
EGWow,
Thank you, Friend! Those windows "kept speaking to me" every time I came at my daughter's house:)
Rebecca,
Thank you, Rebecca:) No snow in your neck of the woods yet?
Diane,
Living in California have made me appreciate clouds much more (in Holland I never paid attention to them, LOL)
Naturefootstep,
Thank you! The Scandinavian blog friends seem to all be very good photographers!!
Woody,
So have I -maybe because one of hubby's specialties is to put in windows and doors.
Judy,
Thanks for telling how Annie ended up! Even though I've seen dogs swim, in the pic she looked small and forlorn in the water.
Southern Sass,
Thank you! I'm curious what your pics will be for the Christmas season!
Jim,
sorry, I keep moving in and out my past European and recent American experience:) I meant zero Celsius!
Guess what, in the 70ties I went to college in Waxahachie, TX about 20 miles from Dallas.
Lyndsey,
Thank you,and also for visiting! A birthday during those days makes it extra special, don't you think?
Jeannette, those are absolutely beautiful pictures. The reflection in the window is dazzling. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful photos...I love the blue haze on that window. Thanks for the lovely memes as well. I'll have to check them out.
I love your photos here. Thanks for sharing!
Sky Watch
I like the bits of subtle color in the leaves and grasses photo. I enjoy looking up close at natural things and picking out the beauty in the simplicity of a leaf.
Grapevine Mountains - love the name as much as the image.
Your windowphoto is very speciel. It tell us a story ;-)
Sally,
Thank you! One of those happy accidents! Maybe one day I'll make a painting of it.

Thank you! You have an ambitious blog! Curious how you found me...
Kim,
Thank you, bloggie friend! These turned out well:)
Jen,
Yes, I'm with you -those little subtle things give me joy!
Violet Sky,
The Grapevine is a treacherous course of mountains where cars in the summer often overheat, or get stranded in the snow (since people don't know how to deal with snow in this state:) ), but... everytime we go by there my camera keeps clicking!
Anjoe,
Yes, it is a story of my daughters blue and white kitchen:) Have a great weekend!
Beautiful, love Calif. scenery so much. That's one thing I miss.
This is my first visit to your blog. Very lovely photos! I love the one of the Grapevines.
Beautiful! Your photos are like paintings.
Grapevine mountains seems to be such a lovely place ! Your shot of shadow of clouds is really beautiful... I like the first one too, with the condensation on the window in the morning... Very nice sharing indeed !
