We have a few cut-ups in the family. Some unintentional, some very intentional!
These pics were taken last year around Christmas.

Monkey step 1 and Monkey step 2
Ooooh, you thought I couldn't do it!Okay. ready to watch my fav TV show!
Ooh, yummy paper!
I can't wait!!!I'm shaking all over!
Ooh, caaarton!...always what I wanted!
First son-in-law insisted on trimming the tree with Dad.
Then, they HAD TO put a Santa Claus hat on.
Then, "Naa-aah, You said THIS year YOU would play for Santa Claus!"
"No, you!"
"No you!
Take a pic, Mom, quick - I need some proof here!!"

Cute post it kind of looks like our house over the years. Thanks so much for visiting my blog and your good wishes while I was in the hospital. I can always feel the good energy that comes from the good wishes, warm thoughts and prayers of others on my behalf. The doctors figured out I have pnuenmonia. They stablized me in the hospital and sent me home, but I still have it and a sinius infection. We're waiting on cultures now to see what is going to finally going to kill this bug since the anti-biotics thus far have only been mildly effective. Fun, fun. I have faith we'll get it figured out it has happened before.
Great thought on your blog being your blog. Love the sign "Blog without obligation" May I use it on mine?
Love the photos! I see you're also having fun with your header!
What a lovely family, you seem to share such a precious time together.;) The baby is so cute, those first steps are so important.;)

Gotta love family! That little one is so adorable. And your house looks very lovely, by the way.
In answer to your question on my blog this morning, my mom is Saxon German on her mother's side and Austrian on her fathers and my dad is Hungarian Romanian.
Let the festivities begin! I'm thinking I might put up my tree today! Lovely post and great photos, Jeannette.
Kat
Wow your new header is spectacular! And this was a very cute post.
Love the photos! Happy Wednesday!
Love, peace and blessings

Young Eclectic Encounter,
it seems that with the disease you have, the docs really have trouble diagnosing things! Sory you had to go to the hospital, and hope you're feeling better soon:)
Yes, go ahead, grab the widget - they have several versions of it-enjoy!
Jane,
I just felt goofing off yesterday night LOL
The header comes from hubby's trip with the photo class he's taking:)
Zuzanna,
Thank you! Since they live 7 hrs. away, every minute is important. This is the 5th grand child. He's a quick one:)
Angie,
Am glad and thankful I/we have a good relationship with our adult children and their families.
Thank you Angie, this was my old house, we sold it and now live in a condo in a gated community.
Wow, thank you for explaining: you are very European! Now I understand your affinity to St. Nicolas.
Kat,
Thank you, Kat:)
Wish you luck with your tree! No tree for us this year, because we're going up to our kids houses for the feast!
Barry,
Glad that I kept clicking the camera - there was bound to be some good pics in there.
I'll pass on the compliment to hubby -it was one of the photos he made on his trip to Long Beach (ocean front) for the photo class he's in. He never did anything artistically before!
Free Spirit Butterfly,
Thank you! I'm thinking about you this time of year - I know a lot of things happen in Dec. Have a smooth week:)
Great family pics! I don't think I have every heard that express, "Cut up" before. Is that sort of like being a "ham"...?
cutting up is joking - maybe it's a Californian expressing :)
What wonderful family Christmas memories. I'm sure you'll be building more this year.
Your hubby's photo on the header shot is great. It be jiggling all over.
Death Valley would be a diverse place to paint. Jeremy isn't real tall, I'm just real short. ;-)
I love those "monkey step" photos. I can't help laughing ... Thanks for sharing, Jeannette.
Gaelyn,
In my job it's very important to see the bright things of life, and laugh a lot!
I'll pass it on to hubby - to me it looks like electricity -
Gaelyn, in other pics you didn't look that short:)
Eki,
My pleasure, Eki! It's good to laugh -one author describes laughing like medicine for the soul!
It would appear that you all get in the spirit. The wee one is adorable.
I've had a look-see at your other blog. I'm intrigued.
Rudee,
Thank you, Rudee. Am still thinking about your blog post - that's a tough one (to have mercy, I mean)
Hey, I hope you'll visit my other blog again, when it's a little bit more developed. Should have started AFTER the holidays with that, but it was an itch that I couldn't scratch:)
