Somehow there are so many simple pleasures to enjoy in summer. Never enough time and days to do them all!
Junior's dad calls out, "Throw 30 rocks in the water." After some time..."30, or 31??"
Throwing rocks in the water, was a delight for my kids, and it seems junior can't help but follow
Endless fun at Barbecues...
Couldn't help but chuckle, when overhearing the conversation, "Eeeewww dude, that's blood!" Seems that there are some dudes who don't like the sight of blood!
While Baby is asleep, and little tots are playing ball,
I slurp with delight on a slice of my watermelon-ball
Anytime watching the the swirl of the water around the rocks
A lovely sunset to close off the day!

Nice family fun.
Such a little boy next to such big rocks.
Oh Wow! Looks like everyone is having a grand time!
Love the photos of nature also. Makes me think about how long it has been since we haven gotten away!
Vicki
What a beautiful way to spend a hot summer day. The waves crashing and swirling on the rocks are beautiful as well.
Enjoy every moment of your life. Have a good day.
Enjoyment matters.
Gorgeous pictures, love them all, but the sunset is magnificent.;)
We have had unusually warm July, but it seems to be ending unfortunately. Enjoy your summer dear Jeannette.;)
xoxo
Looks to me as though a lovely day was had by all Jeannette - hope there are many more such days before the Autumn arrives.
I'm glad summer has finally arrived. It has been here for several weeks and I would gladly share...but I see I don't have to.
Looks like some wonderful summer time fun. Love the messy watermelon pic. Oh the joy of slurping cold melon.
I love the oil painting at the header of your blog!
Thanks for that look at real American people.
Aloha Jeannette..beautiful photos and terrific family fun! Just wanted to say hi..and I like that photo with you in the hat! Your header is terrific as well!
Ah, so your daughter will be 30 years too! Cheers- have a wonderful day!
Hi Jeannette! Thanks so much for visiting and commenting on our Paree blog! Much appreciated.
And now I've found your blog which is a delight! Great photos and I love your art work!
Dina,
Haha, I didn't mean to say that Junior would throw those big rocks in the water:)
Vicky,
Yes, don't forget to enjoy the outdoors, Friend! It's an instant relaxer:)
Clytie,
When those pics were taken it was superhot, 90+ degrees! Then the sunset is welcome for more than one reason (maybe you remember that in CA it does cool off in the eve.)
Rainfield,
We should enjoy every moment- and it matters very much - but it's difficult too, not to be taken up with the cares of life (for me, that is).
Zuzanna,
Ooh, what a pity, Zuzanna. Hopefully August will bring you some more warm days. Thank you dear friend, I will enjoy it, especially now I live closer to the coast, because it's cooler, but still have the sun!
Weaver,
I hope so as well for you in the UK, Weaver!
EG Wow,
Do you mean, it has been too hot where you are? Sorry if that was the case. I like the sun, but I hide inside when it gets too hot!
Jen,
Yeah, as a mom, you know exactly about BBQ's and slurping watermelon! They make for the best memories!
Betsy,
Thank you dear friend! You'll especially appreciate it when I tell you that I was sprayed by the water (the hat), and the wind was blowing (2 hoodies to stand the cold)! One calls it "suffering for the arts", LOL.
Irene,
Is that a fact! Such a difference with all the hoopla of the celebs around us!
Regina,
Aaah, you're back! Hope you had a good time off.
Thank you, it's my all-purpose hat:) That's my middle daughter, the oldest is 8 years older (which probably makes me ancient compared to you, chuckle).
Jacob,
You probably took hundreds of pics in Paris? When we were there, digital cameras were still too expensive...
Thanks for the visit and the compliments! You know that my last follower has the same name as you have? How coincidental!
Hello Jeannette, July is a month overloaded, very difficult to go on blogs that I like, especially those of English languages that require more effort on my part, my English is a little rusty ...
The table of the stream under the pinewood is beautiful even your swimmers ... did you put on a table ArtQuid, I watch, but there are so many artists that I have missed you! One of my paintings "Anoucka" has to rank Bronze (3rd), this make pleasure, I do not know what it's worth, but I confess that I am glad!
My answer to your visit to Barbouilles!
No, Jeannette, only in dreams and the net .... I hope to go one day. Since my childhood I am fascinated by Indonesia and its mysteries ... Family oral tradition would one of my distant ancestors have married a woman there ... at least that's what I told my aunt Madeleine.
The only places outside Europe where I lived (three months, almost into the bush to Mada) is the island of Reunion and Madagascar. If I could, I would spend my life traveling ...
Doowmee,
Congratulations with your bronze "Anoucka"!
Is ArtQuid a blog where artists can display their painting? I haven't heard about it before...
Hmm, your aunt Madeleine told you something very interesting...:)
And you traveled to uncommon places - it enriches our life, doesn't it?
Remember, don't worry about your English - as long as I know what you're talking about, I'm okay with it!
